For all your plumbing needs...
Plumbing Prices:
Hourly Charges: For general work, my first hour includes my "call-out" fee and is charged at £100. Subsequent hours are charged at £60 per hour (£30
to the nearest half hour).
For example:
1hr @ £100
90mins @ £130
2hrs @ £160
Half Day Rate: For work expected to take 4-5 hours the charge is a flat half day rate of £260.
Day Rate: For plumbing work expected to take longer than 5 hours the charge is a flat day rate of £320 per day. Costings for bathroom installations and
other long plumbing projects will be done via written estimates.
Please note; all my prices include VAT so there is nothing to add on top of my labour charges.
The above prices are for work completed in our normal business hours 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday. Outside of these hours any work will be classed as emergency work and will have a charge of £140 for
the first hour and a charge of £80 per hour thereafter (£40 to the nearest 30mins).

Please note, I give estimates and not quotes because given the nature of my work, a great deal of the plumbing in homes is hidden. It is therefore, often impossible to give an accurate quote of how much a plumbing job will cost. For example, some jobs require a plumber to lift floorboards or to remove parts of a stud wall, and I can never tell what I will find until I've done this. As a result of this, I provide estimates calculated to the best of my ability based on what I can see.
Sometimes it will become apparent once the job has started that additional work is going to be required which may increase costs in terms of materials, labour or both. If this is the case, you
will be informed of any changes necessary. It’s not all doom and gloom though, quite often I’ve lifted floorboards only to find some pre-existing plumbing work which I’ve been able to use to make big
savings on both labour and material costs! If it is the case that fewer materials are used your invoice will reflect this and will be less than the initial estimated cost.
